Goals

•  Increase residential stability for all participants;

•  Encourage greater self-determination of all participants;
•  Enhance skill level and income potential of all participants;

•  Foster multiple relationships built on mutual trust;
• Successfully contact and befriend additional farmers through outreach and existing producer relationships;
• Improve participation of historically underserved farmers and ranchers of color through marketing: post cards, bulletins, alerts and Zoom meetings;
• Participates on the creation and establishment of food hubs and food cooperatives;
• Assist homeless women and new and beginning farmers and ranchers in land and real estate ownership, and start a successful farm, community garden and/or a personal garden; and,
• Engage farmers in intergenerational activities and mentorship by matching veteran farmers with new and beginning farmers of color in rural, urban and persistent poverty communities.
